Winter is in full force (despite being unusually warm), but it’s practically Spring inside the MCU! Iced Passion Tea Lemonades and Green Tea Frappuccinos are beginning to replace the Mint Hot Chocolates and Egg Nog Lattes. Parts of the Union are beginning to defrost, bloom, and flourish as this semester moves forward. Most excitingly, we are proud to announce the re-opening of THE CORNER POCKET!
If you’re unfamiliar with what the Corner Pocket is, don’t worry. Located behind Starbucks is a space for people to hang out, lounge around, and relax a bit in the College Union. Let’s take a walk down memory lane and look at what used to be available in the Corner Pocket…

Geneseo had it pretty good with the old Corner Pocket. Now, we’ve revamped it with some new décor!
- Carpeting & wood floors
- New seating areas
- A newly retiled balcony
- A bumpin’ new audio system
- Refreshing and vibrant splash of paint on the walls
- Last but never least, some good old MCU Lovin’
